I was wondering where people would be able to travel safely this Summer after hearing all the reports of Coronavirus spreading rapidly in Florida, Arizona, Texas and other states. Europe is closed to Americans, as is Canada, for the foreseeable future.
After much discussion with my fellow travel advisors, we’ve all concluded that while most US travelers are staying close to home this summer, preferring short-distance car trips to international air travel, some voyagers won't let a global pandemic curb their travel plans. And there are still a handful of options. I thought I’d share the latest travel openings and advisories, and make some recommendations.

We made it to July. It is going to be a strange Summer. With the 4th of July coming up this weekend, it brings me back to my childhood. This is my favorite holiday. As a kid, living in a city just outside Boston, all the neighborhoods had parks for recreation and sports. Linden Park was just across the street from our home, we could see it from our kitchen window. |
