It's the unofficial start of Summer. I hope you have some plans for an enjoyable weekend. This year it is a challenge both financially and availability-wise for a lot of travelers.
Now, onto the subject. One BIG thing travelers get wrong is.....they can't afford luxury travel. Luxury travel is surprisingly affordable if you know where to look, or to be more precise, who to work with.
Staying at luxury resorts outside a city center is more affordable, and within striking distance of your luxury destination. Want an affordable touch of luxury and an oasis in a crowded airport terminal? Priority Pass provides access to over 1200 airport lounges, airport clubs and Sala VIP lounges in 143 countries. These affordable luxury ideas are just a few of many I can and do provide my clients. Its part of my service, and I'm happy to offer them. Don't get me wrong, I will always be enjoy booking high-end luxury travel for my clients. Nothing gives me more pleasure than putting together the trip of a lifetime with no budget concerns. And create raving fans doing it.
But the truth is, we don't all have the means to do that. So how can I do this? By having working relationships with a vast network of travel contacts. Something you won't get with the online booking engines (Travelocity, Expedia, etc). You'll get a completely customized getaway that is within your budget and doesn't break the bank.

25 Reasons to Travel in 2020
Continuing my 25 reasons to travel in 2020, I present some American cultural vacation ideas to inspire you. They are diverse, baby-new, and ancient, depending upon where you travel. Head to the Southwest, and you’re in Santa Fe. Go to San Francisco, gateway to California wine country, Head to Amish country. Go find your American roots!
If any of these pique your interest you, contact me to get started planning.
You recall your grandmother’s family stories and decide to hit the road for Amish country. (The old schoolhouse feels faintly familiar.) Your mother grew up in Seattle, and she wants to see the house where she was born. Sadly, it’s now a frat house, but you have a terrific time exploring the San Juan Islands off Washington State. Go find your American roots—it’s an enlightening surprise!
Yes, America does have ancient civilizations. Alaska has been inhabited by the Aleutian Islanders for 3,000 years. The Arizona Hopi (they have a connection to Stonehenge) have lived here for 2,000 years as have the Acoma Puebloans in New Mexico. There are many more bands, and all are living records of ceremonies, magical thinking, medicinal herbs, and family traditions. You are invited to experience them.
From 1861-1865 President Lincoln held the United States together. It was touch and go, and decided battle-by-battle. Almost 800,000 people lost their lives, but their stories live on in the homes they loved and the places they fought. Heroes and scoundrels filled the ranks on both sides. When you visit important sites, be very still. Sometimes you can still hear their voices
America is a country of innovators and artists that have, and continue to, influence the global community. Imagine a space lab and observatories where you can track the stars. Exploratoriums with hands-on experiments. International collections of musical instruments and costumes. Of course, local art scenes mirror the personality of every town, and there are extraordinary finds to bring home!
Wineries and rolling vineyards are a sumptuous pleasure. Breweries and Spirits are yours, too. Imagine harvesting the food for your meal. Catching a salmon in Alaska. Local cheeses that you won’t find at home. The eclectic nature of a down-home diner and good eats. Elegant and distinctive fare. Choosing travel based on what delights you might be your dream become reality.
